In February of 2004, The Shooshan Company acquired an interest in Arlington Square, a 135,000 square foot building located at 4401 Fairfax Drive in the Ballston submarket of Arlington County, for 20.3 million dollars. The building was constructed in 1986 and has been leased to GSA on behalf of the Department of Interior's Fish and Wildlife agency through 2008. The Shooshan Company was able to reposition the property in the market by dealing with its differed venture issues and by improving its tenant relations; the result was a substantial increase in the value of the property. The building complemented the Company's portfolio of well located and fully leased building in the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor until 2005 when it was sold for over 41.5 million dollars. The value that was created serves to highlight the knowledge and focus that The Shooshan Company displays on all endeavors.
