Virginia Square is a 121,000 rentable square foot, "Class
A" office building located on Metro's Orange Line, at the Virginia
Square Metro stop along the Rosslyn/Ballston Corridor in Arlington County,
Virginia. The Shooshan Company managed this property through a major site
plan amendment which resulted in substantial changes to the building included
reorienting the front entrance/lobby and a two story height reduction.
The building was started on a speculative basis, and was fully leased
by The Shooshan Company to System Planning Corporation, The George Washington
University, Strategic Analysis, Inc. and Directed Technologies, Inc prior
to the building's
substantial completion. This six (6) story building, designed
by HLM Design and built by Clark Construction was completed in December
1999. The property was sold to an affiliate of Deutsche Bank in August
2001 for a price that set a record for Northern Virginia office product
that year. The building continues to be fully stabilized with the next
lease rollover to occur in January 2007.
