The Ballston BID

“Founded in 2011, the Ballston BID is a 501(c)(6) organization that is governed by a 23-member Board of Directors who are elected or Countyappointed to represent commercial property owners; tenants; cultural and recreational interests; educational, community, science, and technology interests.”

“The Ballston Business Improvement District, or BID, is a 25-block area within the Ballston neighborhood comprised of both commercial and residential properties. The BID is funded by a special tax paid by commercial property owners within our set boundaries. That tax makes up the Ballston BID budget, and funds various projects to maintain Ballston as an ideal destination to live, work, shop, learn and play.” – The Ballston BID

The mission of the Ballston BID is to “create a Ballston that people love through vibrant and dynamic branding and placemaking, elevated neighborhood experience, and relationship-building programs.”
